At The Small Studio, we value the importance of paper stock and how it impacts the overall look and feel of your finished print. We've curated a selection of two high quality paper stocks that we believe enhance the artwork and is well suited to all types of framing. Read the paper descriptions below to learn more about each option.

Ultra Matt Paper 250gsm

A high quality ultra matt paper that prints to perfection. This sturdy paper feels super smooth and has a non-reflective surface that reduces glare and fingerprints. The 'bright white' colour complements artwork mounted in all kinds of frames.

Premium Fine Art Paper 310gsm

Look to add a sense of depth and richness with this 100% cotton fine art paper. Featuring a smooth matt finish with a soft texture, it is reminiscent of the original etching and printmaking papers. The 'pure white' colour creates a subtle warmth to the artwork.

Spot the difference

In a nutshell, the premium fine art paper 310gsm is the slightly thicker option. It has a subtle texture unlike the smooth finish of the ultra matt paper. Both paper stocks have a matt, non-reflective finish.

To compare, your average A4 white printing paper is 80gsm in thickness. Both our options are much more sturdy and long-lasting.
